“Rapunzel Bettencourt” reimagines the classic fairytale within the charged glitter and glamour universe of modern desire — a fever dream of glamour, control, and ascension.
I’ve always imagined this person in my head with these long tresses as she glides in the air and glides through the crowd.
She swings through the pole, long blonde hair flowing like liquid light, diamonds and silver cascading as she climbs toward the impossible. This is no damsel in distress. She’s performance and power, a mental note made real.
Wrapped in silver, dripping in reflection, she commands every flicker of light that meets her; her self as a disco fantasy. The pole becomes her tower, the stage her kingdom, and every spin a declaration of self-made freedom.
