Beauty: Waves Don’t Die

Waves Don’t Die is a hair-focused story that elevates wave patterns as more than a style positioning them as cultural memory, identity, and continuity. The work explores how texture carries meaning, turning a foundational grooming practice into a visual language rooted in heritage, pride, and self-expression.

The series highlights waves as something enduring rather than temporary, an evolving form that speaks to discipline, care, and presence. By framing the hairstyle as both aesthetic and statement, the project reclaims everyday grooming as art direction, where precision meets storytelling and tradition meets contemporary visual culture.
